What can I log?
Formula in millilitres, a direct breastfeed with the side and the minutes, bottled breast milk, a diaper as pee, poo or both, a temperature in degrees Celsius, a short note and a photo. If you log it later, set the time to when it happened.
Does it work with no signal?
Yes. Each entry is saved on the phone first. When the phone is online, the household copy updates. The app shows "Saved on this phone" or "Synced 2 min ago" so you know which.
How does my helper join?
A parent opens Settings and taps Invite someone, then picks the relationship and the level. The app shows a QR code and a short code. Your helper taps Join with an invite, types the code and a first name. No email and no password. The invite works once and lasts 48 hours.
Who can change an entry?
A parent can do all and can invite others. A caregiver can add and change entries. A viewer can look, but not change. The owner of the family can remove a member.
Where are the photos kept?
A photo stays on the phone that took it. If you turn on Share photos with the family in Settings, the photo also goes to the Minibao server, and only your family can see it. You can turn sharing off at any time.
How do feed reminders work?
In Settings, pick a time from 2 hours to 4 hours after the last feed, in steps of 30 minutes. The reminder stays on that phone and does not go to the other members. The phone must allow notifications for Minibao. There is no diaper reminder.
Which cameras work?
A mains-powered Tapo camera on your home Wi-Fi. The guided setup is in the app. Live playback is not ready and arrives in a later update. Battery and solar Tapo cameras and Xiaomi cameras do not work.
Can I export the log?
The owner or a parent can export the log from Settings as a JSON file. It needs a connection. A caregiver or a viewer does not see Export.
