Delete your Minibao account and data

This page explains how to delete your Minibao account and the data that our server holds about you. Minibao is published by Catalyst Performance Pte. Ltd., UEN 202522204H, registered office 8 Cross Street, #05-03, Manulife Tower, Singapore 048424 ("we").

Delete the account in the app

1. Open Minibao and go to Settings.

2. In the family sharing section, tap Delete my account.

3. Read the message, then confirm. The app asks you to confirm a second time, because this cannot be undone.

What the delete removes

• Your sign-in, your email address and each session of yours on our server.
• Your place in each family that you joined.
• Each family that you own, if nobody else is in it. This removes the children, the log entries, the photos and the invites of that family from our server.

What stays

• The log on your phone. The app keeps it, and you can delete it when you remove the app.
• Entries that you made in a family that you do not own. They stay in that family's log, because they are the family's record. We remove your name from those entries. Other members' phones get the change the next time they sync. A family owner can delete the entries.
• Photos that you added to a family that you do not own. They stay with the entries in that family's log. A family owner can delete them.
• Backups. They hold the data for up to 30 days, then they are removed.

If the app says that other people are in your family

You own a family that other people still belong to. Remove them in the family list, then delete your account. Or delete the family first, if the whole family should go.

If you joined with an invite code

A caregiver who joins by invite has no account. Tap Leave this family in Settings. We remove your name from your entries in that family. The owner can also remove you, with the same result.

If you cannot open the app

Write to privacy@minibao.app from the email address of your account. Say that you want to delete your account. We answer within 30 days.

The launch list

If you joined the launch list on our website, each email from us has a link to stop emails and a link to delete your data. You can also write to privacy@minibao.app.
